Backyard Wedding Planning
I want to have my son’s wedding in my backyard on 5/17/24.
Before
I had an area in the corner of my yard that didn’t get watered very good by the sprinkling system and it always had weeds and looked terrible so I decided to put a patio area in the corner of the yard so I didn’t need to water that part of the lawn. Me and my children installed a patio area by digging out 9 inches of dirt and putting part of the dirt around the yard to level the grass. We then put in road base and sand. Then we laid pavers. We completed this patio area and removed a half dead tree that was next to this patio area in the summer of 2022. The next summer 2023 we designed and installed a pergola on top of the patio area. This was all made from scratch by me and my children. This year in 2024 we installed curbing and added landscaping around the yard and now it looks beautiful. This was definitely a family project that we put blood sweat and tears into.
